Matriculation exam in Geography - first analyses and comments

Summary

A former tradition of holding matriculation exams in secondary education has been restored in Bulgaria in 2008. It has been of great significance as an important social and educational experiment. An attempt to analyse the process of composition and selection of problems for the matriculation exam in Geography is offered in this paper. Particular issues have been discussed. Some recommendations for optimizing the Geography exam format have been suggested.
