Summary
This article presents facts and opinion on four questions,
concerning the forthcoming changes in the normative
documents for Geography Education in the Secondary
School in the situation of realizing the ideas of
the National Program for School Education and Pre
School Upbringing and Preparation (2006 -2015) with
the aim to provoke a discussion in respect of the possibilities
for optimizing of the introduced during the last
nine years Standards and Programs for Geography
Education: 1. Which are the normative documents that
are in the base of the Geography Education in the Secondary
School at the moment? 2. Which is the effectiveness
of these documents - how far they are fulfilled,
what problems are they arouse? 3. Which are the concrete
activities for attaining the changes, marked in
the National Program...? 4. Which special features of
the Standards andPrograms for Geography Education
could be taken into account as possibilities for changes
in Geography Education?
